Basically im an English Beach Volleyball player and I am thinking about heading out to the west coast to train and possibly compete over and through out the summer. if anyone can help me find the best place to train or possibly even someone to play with it would be great.
a little bout me, have been playing Beach for just under 3 years and alreaday had a GB trial for beach, height 6'5 very agile and quick player for the height. I've put myself as a BB gradeda player, if any one could get back to me with any info it would be greatly appreciated |

If you are planning on coming to Southern California, San Diego would be a good place to park it. There is a lot of ball up in the Los Angeles area as well, but I am not sure if it is as open to new players as San Diego is. The majority of the tournaments, however, are held in LA or Orange county.
San Diego can always use another 6'5" guy.
There will be a ton of tournaments this year, and the main provider (the CBVA) has finally stopped using the leather brick from spalding and is now going to use the AVP Wilson, which is great news for most players.
The other major tournament provider in the area (the GAV), however is still whoring themselves out to spalding.

I guess I'm still not over it. |
